Our Indian partner, Ashok Brothers Impex, belongs to the well renowned Ashok Group of companies engaged in the manufacturing of sophisticated machine tools and electronic equipment. Ashok Brothers was originally founded in 1936 in Lahore. The Partition of India forced the company to cease its business activities in Lahore and start afresh in New Delhi.

Today, Ashok Brothers is a market leader in dynamic balancing machines in India. In addition, ABI markets European, American and Japanese machine tools within India. Some of its International collaborators in the area of machine tools include Pierce-All Ltd., UK, OMAG, Italy, Geka, Spain, Wilhelm Schluter, Germany, Flow Europe, Germany, etc., to name a few.

Ashok Brothers have established an excellent marketing/sales network across the country and a strong manufacturing base in New Delhi. ABI also has highly skilled engineers distributed over offices across the country who are well reputed for providing superior maintenance/servicing of the installations. These engineers have, on an average, over 15 years experience in maintenance and servicing of advanced mechatronic systems.

In the area of automation, ABI has a sterling reputation of pioneering the installation of advanced robotic systems to major players like Maruti Udyog in the mid 80s, a period when robotics was its infancy in India. Since then, ABI has executed several successfully robotic installation in India by acquiring the marketing rights from major players like Kawasaki and Adept robotics.
