The meaning of “Delivery Excellence” in 5G is not necessarily related only to any universal quality in the work product, even though, the presence of such quality is implicit and is a given. It is rather an alignment of our delivery process to the customer’s business, and/or, an objective achieved in our delivered work product in more than a satisfactory manner for the customer. Simply put, upon delivery, if we have the ability to make more than 8 out of every 10 customers exclaim at the time of delivery that our work is “excellent”, even though the word “excellent” may mean different to these different customers, that is what we claim has the corporate capability to provide “Delivery Excellence”. It is derived from the following actions:
Listening to the customer during the execution of the work helps us to understand how to strike a perfect balance between the customer’s market dynamics and our own processes that have been defined to drive excellence. Listening to the customer after the delivery helps us understand our mistakes and to improve our delivery for the next time around. There are a standard set of processes and practices that we follow that are common to achieving Delivery Excellence and we implement these processes specifically to every customer by the three stages of listening mentioned above.
